Miss Literal

We've reached the literal phase it seems. Here are a few tidbits..

*while looking at a picture of Audrey at a crab boil*
Me: Audrey look, you were eating crabs!
Audrey: I no eat crabs, Mommy.
Me: You don't?
Audrey: No. I eat food.


*while Audrey hamming it up for the camera*
James: Audrey, you're a ham!
Audrey: I'm not a ham, I'm a monkey.
(ok, so this is literal, as she truly thinnks she's a monkey)

*while discussing Audrey's curls*
Me: I love her curls
James: Yay for my genes!
Audrey: Those aren't jeans daddy, those are shorts.
