Sitting Tall

We have a sitter! She's been sitting pretty well for about a month now, but I'm finally just getting around to snapping a few pictures of it. As with most of my pictures, she sees the camera and gives that trademarked-baby blank stare. Both of Audrey's grandmothers experienced this during their recent visits. Apparently James is the only one who can get any expression other than the blank stare. I'm particularly fond of her shirt today, and her little gray sweatpants. Notice the pink socks--yes, she is a girl! In attempting to catch a smile, I thought maybe if I gave her favorite book to her I might catch a smile. No such luck, see below.
