Gourmet Sunday

We often have friends over for dinner on Sunday. We affectionately have dubbed them "Gourmet Sundays", since our friends are "foodies" just like we are, and we all enjoy making/trying new things (gourmet or not!). This Sunday was no different, and the menu was spectacular. Our friend Anne brought her son Austin (see previous Chickies Rock post), and Aud and Austin played like champs. It was great fun to watch them! Mike, as always, brought some amazing food that raised the bar, but we certainly weren't complaining!

P.S. Mike did bring more than the octopus; he brought out of this world guacamole, mini caprese spears, and a salad that made dinner truly gourmet! I think the octopus was for the shock factor.
