Blueberries

So the Kiwanis of York have a blueberry sale each summer for a fundraiser. I called in and ordered a box at the tippy tail end of the ordering window (ok,...I was actually 2 or 3 days late). Luckily they got me on the list. When I went to pick them up, I gave in a bought 2 boxes of berries. So today is being spent rinsing, de-stemming, measuring, bagging and freezing 20 pounds of fresh blueberries. How much is 20 pounds? Approximately 28 pints, or 56 cups of blueberries. Yep,...that's a LOT of berries. Today isn't so fun, but come January we'll be loving fresh blueberry pancakes! Just call me the Blueberry Queen....
