Audrey is making connections, and as all parents, I think she's quite brilliant. No, I jest. It's just fun to be able to have more active interaction (is that redundant?) with her. She can now show you her toes, belly, nose and ears. She can follow simple directions (high five, touchdown, clap, take a drink, please sit down, up). She's starting to point to things (or look for them ) when asked. She "helps" get dressed by holding out an arm or a foot when appropriate. And yes, we have to have shoes on!! It's great fun to watch this development. She also giggles at herself at times. Her new favorite activity is to somehow arrange herself so she sees the world upside down. Then giggles.
Her giggles? By far the best sound in the world.
